Our hope is to keep stay-at-home and work-from-home moms company while encouraging you to pursue excellence in motherhood while serving the Lord, your family, and your home well.
I've been with my college sweetheart for 13 years (except a 3 month break in 2015, but we can get into that in the podcast), and we've been married for seven years. We have two beautiful kids; our daughter is 3 and our son is 1.
I left my corporate career to become a stay-at-home mom, and I love spending time exploring our new town of St. Augustine, FL, and you can find those adventures over on Instagram @StAugustine.WithKids.
Most people would consider me a "crunchy mom," preferring to feed my kids whole and organic foods, avoiding pharmaceuticals nearly 100% of the time, having two unmedicated labors, filtering all our water, and still breastfeeding BOTH of my kids. Plus, we plan to homeschool (and I'm exciteddddd!) I even have a full stash of cloth diapers (erhm...that I never used).
I like to end a day feeling like I accomplished something; that "something" could be cleaning out the laundry room or a meaningful memory with my family. It's the little things for me. I want to live life to the fullest and know that I did what I could while I was here to positively impact the people in my life, especially my nuclear family unit.
I hope our podcast is encouraging to you. You are the best mama for your kids because you are parenting with intention and for God's Glory. Let's link arms to support each other while we raise little disciples!
I married to my high school sweetheart, and we have two beautiful kids, a 7-year-old daughter and a 4-year-old son.
I've always been a stay-at-home mom until last year when I operated a small business in our little hometown. I quickly realized how much I missed being home with our kids, and so after a lot of prayer, we sold the business. Although I sometimes miss the interaction, I would do it a million times again to be home.
If you came to my house, you would probably find me *attempting* to garden, taking care of our chickens, or baking fresh sourdough bread. I document all of that over on my Instagram @sustainablystrong.fl.
I have deeply fallen in love with a slower and more intentional way of living with my family. I homeschool our kids, make *most* of our meals from scratch, and I've recently loved learning about healing our bodies with all the things God gave us on this earth.
Jesus is everything to me, and I can’t wait to see how He is going to use our podcast for His glory. Chatting every week with Mary Anne is going to be the outlet I needed when most days it's just me and my littles at home.
I am so excited you’re here, and I hope you’ll join us every week to chat all thing “Related to Motherhood”.
